With Alpha, you receive support from experienced parents who understand the special education system. Our team guides you in understanding your child's educational needs and communicating effectively with service providers to ensure your student gets the necessary support. We help you become an active and important member of the IEP team.

Assistance is available to negotiate and navigate special education and other systems (SSI, IHSS, conservatorship/alternatives, etc.) that serve families of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Confidential referral service and follow-up to connect you with community resources are also available.

We host learning opportunities and workshops on a monthly basis. In order to serve the diverse needs of our community, we offer workshops to help you navigate your journey from prenatal diagnosis to end-of-life decision.
